Why we built it

Analysts, engineers, and makers often juggle metric and imperial units or currency changes while collaborating across time zones. UnitFlex removes sign-ins, reduces clicks, and stays respectful of privacy.

Principles

• Client-side first: computations run locally for speed and privacy.
• Clarity: readable labels, consistent rounding, and minimal UI clutter.
• Accessibility: dark theme with high contrast for long working hours.

Roadmap

Planned additions include: more scientific units (pressure, energy), team presets that save favorite unit pairs locally, quick theme toggles, and printable mini sheets for offline handoffs.

How it works

UnitFlex relies on simple, transparent constants. Every calculation executes in-browser with jQuery event handlers; Tailwind CSS and Feather Icons are pulled from CDNs for lightweight delivery.
